Job Title: Business Development Manager – Housing\nLocation: Remote\nSalary: £37,000 - £40,000 + Commission\nAbout Our Client:\nOur client is a leading provider of high-quality apprenticeships and professional development within the housing sector. They are dedicated to enabling career progression, sector excellence, and impactful partnerships by connecting employers, learners, and industry standards.\nRole Purpose:\nThe Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client’s footprint within the housing and property management sector. The Business Development Manager role focuses on building strong relationships with employers, promoting apprenticeship and professional development programs, and supporting organisational objectives through commercial strategy and stakeholder engagement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBusiness Growth and Strategy\n * The Business Development Manager will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the housing sector to meet growth targets.\n * Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.\n * Promote apprenticeship and professional development programs to employers and stakeholders.\n * Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that meet client and learner needs.\nStakeholder Management and Relationship Building\n * Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with employers, partners, and industry bodies.\n * Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing expert guidance on training and development solutions.\n * The Business Development Manager will identify potential risks or barriers to engagement and work collaboratively to mitigate them.\n * Represent the organization at sector events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility.\nSales, Marketing, and Account Management\n * Develop proposals, contracts, and business cases tailored to employer and sector requirements.\n * Negotiate and close agreements that deliver mutual benefit and support learner success.\n * Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector developments to identify opportunities for growth.\n * Maintain accurate records of business activity, pipeline, and performance metrics in line with internal KPIs.\nCompliance, Reporting, and Professionalism\n * Ensure all business development activity aligns with regulatory, safeguarding, and professional standards.\n * Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all client and stakeholder interactions.\n * Participate in continuing professional development to stay current with sector trends, apprenticeship standards, and business growth strategies.\nPaul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
