Desktop Support Engineer - Stoke - £14-£16 per hour Contract

Badenoch + Clark's client in Stoke-on-Trent requires a Desktop Support Engineer for an initial 3-6 month contract. The role is to start ASAP and can pay between £14-£16 per hour. The role does require 100% onsite working, but in a COVID secure environment. Working hours will be a standard Monday - Friday working week.

The successful candidate will be delivering an onsite 1st and 2nd line desktop support service, taking calls from users with desktop and hardware issues and either resolving remotely or onsite. You will be supporting a standard Windows 10 environment and regular issues will include email and access challenges, basic hardware and network problems and printer connectivity and functionality issues.

The ideal candidate will be a Desktop Support Engineer who is happy to work across both first and second line requirements. You will have experience of providing desktop support in an enterprise environment and will have excellent customer service and communication skills.
