Electrician - Permanent Role \n\nLocation: Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Leicester, Worcester, Tamworth and Northampton areas\nSalary: £20.08 per hour + £0.25 per hour on-call allowance\nBenefits: 24 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, company vehicle with transport provided, uniform, mobile phone/PDA, power tools and testing equipment\n\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic Facilities Management team delivering electrical solutions and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial and industrial sites.\n\nThis is a varied role covering installation, testing, maintenance, and fault-finding across multiple locations within the Midlands region.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarrying out electrical installation works\nElectrical testing and inspection\nFault finding and general maintenance\nStructured cabling installations (preferred but not essential)\nParticipating in an on-call rota\nLiaising with clients to understand and deliver their requirements\nWorking across commercial and industrial environments\nRequirements\n\nNVQ Level 3 or completed electrical apprenticeship\n18th Edition (BS7671:(Apply online only), 2394/2395, or equivalent testing qualification\nValid JIB grading card\nFull UK driving licence\nRight to work in the UKDesirable (not essential):\n\nBS5266-1 Emergency Lighting\nIPAF and/or PASMA certification\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nExperienced in commercial and industrial electrical systems\nConfident in installations, testing, and maintenance\nAble to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications\nSelf-motivated with strong organisational skills\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nComfortable working to deadlines and under pressure\nIf you're a skilled Electrical Engineer looking for a stable, long-term role with excellent support, competitive pay, and regional travel with transport provided, we'd like to hear from you
