SAP Transformation Discovery Lead

This senior leadership role carries broad influence, clear accountability, and high visibility across the business. You will define, lead, and deliver our SAP Transformation journey, ensuring our enterprise systems evolve in step with business priorities and long term strategic objectives.What you'll do:\n\nDefine and agree delivery plans that enable business objectives, and lead your teams to execute them effectively.\nMonitor performance against targets and drive a culture of delivery excellence.\nPlay an active role within the D&IT Senior Leadership Team, contribute to shared goals and championing strong cross functional collaboration.\nLead, guide, and oversee your team's activities, with a focus on talent development, process optimisation, and continuous improvement.\nProvide portfolio oversight and establishing the governance structures required for effective reporting and delivery assurance.\nManage and optimise 3rd party ecosystem to ensure best value investment and consistently high quality delivery outcomes.\nContribute significantly to the development and execution of the wider D&IT strategy.The skills you'll need:\n\nMust have SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.\nA strong technical background in SAP, with hands on experience leading SAP Transformation programmes.\nA deep, end‑to‑end understanding of SAP domains, business process flows, and how SAP components integrate and operate together.\nExperience across multiple full project/programme lifecycles, ideally 10+ years in SAP Transformation leadership roles.\nA track record of delivering complex programmes in dynamic, fast moving environments.\nStrong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically across the enterprise.\nProven ability to drive delivery in project/programme based environments.\nExcellent collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and 3rd party partners.\nA performance focused approach, always striving for continuous improvement.Next steps\n\nWe will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.\n\nIf you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.\n\nAMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
