Specific Hours: Average of 39 hours per week with a weekly rota pattern

  • \nUnqualified: Base salary of £28,260.76, with potential earnings up to £33,660.76 including sleep-in shifts.
  • \n
  • \nQualified (full diploma Level 5 or equivalent): Base salary of £29,253.49, with potential earnings up to £34,653.49 including sleep-in shifts.
  • \n

\n\nYour Role:\n

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Create a warm, homely environment through daily household tasks
  • \n
  • Support young people's interests and encourage positive activities
  • \n
  • Safeguard young people and contribute to care and risk plans
  • \n
  • Build trusting, meaningful relationships
  • \n
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and personal development
  • \n
  • Manage behavior with confidence and compassion
  • \n
  • Support family and peer connections
  • \n
  • Participate in care planning, reviews, and team meetings
  • \n
  • Advocate for young people at meetings and reviews
  • \n
\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n
    \n
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential home
  • \n
  • \nLevel 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
  • \n
  • Experience supporting vulnerable young people
  • \n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • \n
  • Empathetic, patient, and resilient
  • \n
  • Flexible with hours (sleep-ins, weekends, bank holidays)
  • \n
  • Good IT and record-keeping skills
  • \n

We also offer opportunities to progress to Level 5 and into trainee and Registered Manager roles.
