We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a well-established and growing main contractor, to oversee a commercial new build project in Birmingham, value £20m. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable contractor delivering high quality projects across the region.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations. Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReporting to the Project Manager\nManage daily site activities and coordinate sub-contractors\nEnsure works are delivered in line with the programme and budget\nMaintain high standards of health and safety across site\nLiaise with project managers, consultants and subcontractors\nMonitor quality and ensure works meet specifications\nMaintain site documentation and progress reportsRequirements\n\nProven experience working as a site manager on commercial construction projects\nStrong leadership and organisational skills\nAbility to manage multiple trades and subcontractors\nExceptional communication skills\nGood ability to problem solve Essential certifications\n\nSMSTS\nCSCS card\nFirst Aid at workIf you are an experienced Site Manager looking for your next opportunity in the Birmingham area, please complete an application
